The Ministry of Pastor Jon Eric Bush

A minister with a heart for missions, inner city and at risk populations, Pastor Jon Eric Bush travels the country preaching, teaching conducting outreaches and coordinating conferences. Originally from Port Arthur, Texas with extensive roots in the Nashville, TN area, Pastor Jon shares his powerful testimony of how Christ delivered him from a life on the streets which included time in prison, drugs and the sometimes violent world of music promoting.  After being shot in the leg and facing life long paralysis, Jon surrendered to the Lord's calling on His life to lead people away from the darkness of this world.

Pastor Jon has served as a missionary to the Dominican Republic, coordinated several Christian Minister's Leadership Conferences, founded food pantries, Christian Sport's Leagues and spearheads the Christian Shoe Outreach, collecting over 1,000 pair of shoes that have been distributed to various families and organizations in need.

He currently serves as the Principal for  Leesville First Assembly Christian Academy where he supervises the educational, spiritual and personal development of over 150 children. A former Youth Pastor Jon was ordained a minister of the Gospel under Pastors Terry and Tina Bell if New Vision Assembly in Jacksonville, Florida.

Pastor Jon has held several positions in various ministry organizations and will be graduating with a degree in interdisciplinary studies from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 2018.  He also serves as the Coordinator of Operations for The Refreshing Life with Naima.

Pastor Jon and Naima have been married for eight years and have a dynamic team ministry with Pastor Jon sharing the word of God and Naima leading worship. Pastor Jon also has a heart for young men, and has done a number of programs addressing their needs today in the areas of relationships, becoming a man, leadership and staying true to Christ.

Pastor Jon is available for speaking engagements, ministry trainings, outreach and youth events as well as church services.  To have Pastor Jon at your next event or if you are interested in his training programs for young men or developing a specialized outreach program for your church or ministrys, send a request by clicking this link. The Christian Shoe Initiative

MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of the Christian Shoe Initiative is to provide free shoes to those in need. It is our mission to provide through the abundance in which we are blessed with to our brothers and sisters the necessity of footwear. As of July 2015 over 800 pairs of shoes have been collected and distributed to families and organizations in need.  Our next goal is to collect 1,000 shoes to be shipped off to the Dominican Republic for the Haitian people living on the sugar cane plantations in 2017.

GOALS: Our goal is to provide shoes for as many people in need that we can. It is our desire not to disturb local business, charity work or duplicate or harm any efforts already being raised. We plan to impact those individuals who have not had a chance to benefit from any programs that mirror this program. Our primary goal and mode of operation is charity through giving. Our founding bible verse is: As we receive, we give freely Matthew 10:8

MODE OF OPERATION: Together in partnership with several churches we have a donation period and a donation activity. The collection will be once a year. There will be a free will offering taken to help the team with travel, collection, shipping, and distribution. Additional donations of Bibles, socks, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and other small hygiene products can be made by stuffing them inside the shoes donated. If you'd like to get involved, host your own Shoe Outreach  or would like more information about the CSI, contact Minister Jon Bush by clicking here.

Out da' Box Community Concert Series

The Out da' Box Concert Series gives independent artists in cities across the country a chance to share their gifts and talents with the world. These concerts always include an outreach aspect, for example, audience members may be asked to bring canned goods for a local food pantry or dog food for the local humane society.

Minister Jon loves to come to churches across the nation and set up concerts with local Christian artists in the area. Naima will share in music ministry as well. All you do is provide the space and assist with the marketing and Minister Jon will coordinate the entire program! You get to decide on the outreach of your choice. If you are interested in hosting an Out da' Box Concert please contact Minister Jon by clicking here.
